NoiseDesk uses consistent interface patterns across every menu, making it easy to navigate once you understand the basics.

Understanding your starting view

When you open any menu in NoiseDesk, it displays yesterday's data by default. You can select a different period to review, including a single day, a custom range, or a longer window.

Working with columns

Data tables in NoiseDesk behave like a spreadsheet. From any column header, you can:

• Filter the column to show or hide specific values (for example, showing only Departures, Arrivals, or Touch and Go operations)
• Sort by that column
• Choose which type of operation to display, in the same way you would filter a column in Excel

Changing the layout

To adjust the screen layout:

1. Click the round + icon.
2. Rearrange the view to suit your task (for example, giving more room to a detail panel while you review a specific operation).

Navigating between records

After selecting a record, you can return to the list using your web browser's back and forward buttons, just as you would on any website.

Note: The interface is consistent across Operations, Noise Events, Infringements, and Inquiries — skills you learn in one menu carry over to the rest.
